body scan meditation
My healing journey has been very dependent upon reconnecting to my body, and a body scan practice is one of my favorite tools to aid in this reconnection.
I especially like this body scan guided meditation. (It focuses on gratitude for, and lack of judgment toward, the body, which I really appreciate.)
This resource can also help you learn how to do a body scan.
My preference is to have someone else lead me through it, hence why I like the first resource. I even sometimes do this before bed, and it can help put me to sleep.
